What a Family of Connected Devices from LeEco

A new model of user interface has been introduced that allows for more user control of the system that connects related devices. This new ecosystem user interface (EUI) connects smart devices from LeEco and integrates with content from the world’s top content producers.

An incredibly diverse group of devices are produced by LeEco and connected through the new system, include high-end televisions (ecotvs), premium smartphones (including the new Le Pro3 flagship ecophone), a virtual reality headset (as yet unreleased), self-driving electric vehicles and an incredibly advanced smart bicycle.

The keystone of the new ecosystem is the LeEco User Planning to User (UP2U) program puts users at the center of the ecosystem with pricing that makes premium devices affordable and a feedback process that helps to refine the experience and define future products and offerings.

We developed the UP2U model to let users directly influence how our products and services evolve. We have a dynamic process for gathering and implementing the feedback into every aspect of our business from design, R&D and software, to pricing and even the content we deliver. Because our software ties everything together and the content continues to grow, our devices and the experience continually get better.
– Rob Chandhok, Chief R&D Officer for LeEco North America

Ecophones are the next-generation smartphones from LeEco that are built on the UP2U ecosystem to deliver the ultimate content experience. LeEco will launch two ecophones in the U.S. that launched online at lemall.com on November 2, 2016. The Le Pro3 features a 5.5-inch Corning Gorilla Glass screen and a fine, brushed metal case with surround sound speakers powered by Dolby Atmos and Continual Digital Lossless Audio (CDLA) technology. The Le Pro3 also features a 16 MP rear-facing camera and an 8 MP front-facing camera.
