Ahead of the excitement of this year’s CES, XYZprinting has announced a few products that will be debuting at the show in Las Vegas. Three new devices are joining their range of cost-effective 3D printers for classrooms, consumers, artists and small-to-midsize businesses.
da Vinci Nano
The sneak preview of the da Vinci Nano was an exciting announcement at CES last year and returns in 2018 with some great improvements ahead of a retail release this year. Priced in the $200 range, this printer is a perfect entry-level product.
XYZprinting also offers educators curriculum that is great for in-school use and a microsite with educational materials for school and home will be available soon. While the model is similar to others in their mini-series, the nano is also fully enclosed to protect young designers-in-training from high heat levels.
da Vinci 3D Pen Cool
The da Vinci 3D Pen Cool is a pen-type device designed for children as young as six years old that can create 3D printed objects without the need of computers or design software. Variations of the pen that have been available in the past did not include temperature modification, which makes this version safe for very young users.
da Vinci Color AiO
We previewed the predecessor to the da Vinci Color AiO several months ago, introducing it’s innovative 3DColorJet technology, which combines inkjet printing with fused filament fabrication (FFF) 3D printing (Finally, Full-Color 3D printing… da Vinci Color, September 2, 2017).
The da Vinci Color AiO features that same true color technology with full color scanning, especially suited for the prototyping needs of small business owners and priced for a fraction of the cost of other similar products. The da Vinci AiO will be available at the end of Q2/beginning of Q3 2018 at a MSRP of $3999.95.
More 3D Printing at CES
These announcements from XYZprinting are sure to be just the beginning of the 3D printing news from CES 2018.
